Why Getting A Mentor Is Necessary

Now it has been a couple of days and I have gone through the first module of Alex Jeffreys online coaching program. Before I even get started in relaying what I have learned, I need to explain to a lot of you why getting a mentor is necessary.
First off, if I didn’t need a mentor then why am I failing at earning money online? You might want to ask yourself this if you haven’t already. Second, I am convinced that there are no get rich quick schemes that actually work for people like you and I. Even if there was, it would be a one hit wonder and not the kind of business I really want to associate myself with anyways.
Also I believe a mentor can help you stay on track when you feel like you are beginning to derail. I know that I have been derailed many times before and even when I was on the tracks I felt like I was going in circles.
Today’s Internet marketers who are successful are becoming more and more the ones who do not have their names out there all over the Internet but simply make a quiet living online targeting people who need their products. It is not so much the products that they sell but it is the way in which they sell them.
I have noticed that there are two main ways that these people make their money. First they create a product and then sell it. The second is showing others how they created the product and how they sold it. Alex Jeffreys did it with the creation of Post Launch Profits and then later with Post Launch Profits Secrets.
The point I am trying to make is that I tried to study the successful marketers myself and tried to duplicate thier success but to little avail. I have spent literally thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours purchasing the latest craze and money making product only to find myself still broke and more of my hard drive cluttered.
Time for a change don’t you think? I sure do and now with Alex as my mentor I will begin to unravel the mysteries that the Gurus have forbidden or refused to share for years. In the first of Alex’s coaching he goes into detail about how important it is to get a basic business 101 background and how it is also important to just get started and “Don’t worry about getting it wrong, just get it going.”
The categories section of this blog will be in order with my training and will teach you things that you need to do as I do them so I suggest you post to this blog to get help and also to help others who need it. As I learn I will post a category called “Action Plans” so you can get off to a great jump start or if you simply do not have the time to read all of the posts.
I recommend reading all posts as they are for our benefit and shaving corners in any business can cause a quick destruction and lack of drive. Please let me know what you think, I will appreciate all who join with me. Until next time…

Hello Michael,
just read your blog. sounds like what I need, a plan of action. I also have experienced mentors before that will keep their trade secret very close. Alex seems to be very different. I also spent myself broke with courses, ebooks and coaching.
I like your blog by the way. It is very cean and organized. But how do we get lots of people land on our blog and become subscribers. I hope Alex can answer that in the next 2 sessions.
If you can please visit my blogsite and let me know what you think
Cheers,
Markus
