SimpleEcovers.com is Live!
Most of you who come to my blog know that over the last few months I’ve been designing ecovers and minisites for free to Alex Jeffreys students and those who were needing help with getting their graphics done.
After some poking and prodding from those of you who like my work, I decided to launch SimpleEcovers.com, a website designed to give the online business owner vision for their products and services. I failed forward creating my site and making it functional for all of you.
In the end I decided that instead of wasting time to get it “just right”, I would just get it going. I still have to get some information on the site but it’s live and ready for you to get designs for products and services that you need in order to get your own sites live and running.
Making designs for products is fun for me because I like bridging the transformation from visual product to the digital. Most people who buy online products get them in some sort of digital download and before they buy, they need visual stimulation to help them to realize the value of the product or service they are buying.
I’m sure those of you who choose to promote products through Clickbank or Paydotcom have seen really great graphics for products and some really bad graphics. I’m sure most of you have skipped right past the crappy graphics sites as I have. The product could be really great too but if you can’t get past the blurry or outdated graphics that catch your attention right at the beginning, chances are you won’t make much money with that product.
Many of you also purchase private label rights or master resale rights products to sell separately or add to other paid products that you own. What better way to brand yourself than to get a new set of graphics for that private label rights product and this coupled with changing the name of the product and including your story can greatly enhance your business and your credibility… not to mention saving you time.
If Alex Jeffreys, Mike Filsaime, and others can do it then there’s no reason why you can’t do it too. I want to thank all of you who have encouraged me to go forth with starting my graphics business. This definitely will not be the only business I run but is a beginning to offering even more products and services that I have created and plan on releasing in the near future.
With the help of the Butterfly Marketing script and all of the training I’ve received over the past several months, more and more continuity websites will evolve so we all will need to be creative with what we offer future customers online. If we leverage our time and talents, create JV partnerships and give great value and support, there is no reason why we shouldn’t get our piece of the internet pie.
So go and check out SimpleEcovers.com and let me know your feedback. If I’ve done work for you please leave some comments on this blog post and I’ll add them to the testimonials section of my site giving you exposure. I not only want to do your graphics but I want to help you get known online. Until next time…

Thought I’d pop by…though at the moment I seem to be taking over your blog with my comments!
I will of course be providing you with a glowing testimonial as soon as my brain has kicked back into gear & I am capable of formulating coherent sentences. No, I haven’t been out drinking, it’s just been one of those weekends where I seem to have misplaced myself.
Thanks for the comment over at the Lair by the way – glad you like the new look.
Off to find some tea (see, I haven’t completely forgotten who I am!)

@ Nikki, you can take over anytime, I’m sure it’s an impovement to my blog. Just let me know when I can do your minisite squeezepage graphics for you. You never know, I might just hand you a cd in Vegas with all kinds of cool stuff on it. We’ll talk soon.
@ Sean. It’s really great to see how you have taken off and I hope you are gearing toward building a list as that whats going to make your presence known online. I also appreciate the plug over at your blog.
I want to encourage everyone to take a look at Seans blog and start encouraging him to go forward. Whatever your talents are Sean, just make sure you capitalize on them. That is part of your brand. I’m glad to be working for you and with you as we strive for success online and give value to those in need.

Hey Michael,
I’ve left the Lair for a little evening jaunt so I thought I’d pop over here. Don’t worry, this isn’t going to be a huge long comment like the one I left over at Gary’s earlier! I was on a roll then…
Anyway – I’m thinking about getting that page up & running over the next week – I just need to sort out the ‘how’ (failing forward fast!) – I have very limited knowledge over the technicalities of setting up a squeeze page so I think I’ll be doing a shout-out for help once I get into it.
Oooh, a CD in Vegas…now, I wonder what excitements you will have put on there for me?! Especially as I won’t be able to check it till I fly back to the UK…a little suspense for me there!
Speak soon,
Nikki

HI Michael,
I’ve sent you an email on Saturday but haven’t heard from you as yet.
Did you get it by any chance? If not, can you email me on your primary email, please?
I need your services.
Take care,
Sandra

@ Nikki, it’s great that you are getting your book ready and I’ve seen it over at your blog so I know you are serious about getting it out to people. I’m sure it will be great so I’m looking forward to it. Take care.
@ Sandra, I replied to your email 4 days ago so I guess you missed it. I just resent it so I hope you get it soon. I will help you where I can so I’m looking forward to getting in touch with you.
Just look for a message with the subject line of SimpleEcovers.com and or Michael Ottman. Thanks.

Hi Michael,
I’ve just emailed you regarding my book in fact – and that’s reminded me that I owe you some testimonials. Sorry that I haven’t provided them yet – will email you separately with those then you can choose to use them whereever you wish.
Just wanted to add that I really like your Simple E Covers site – it’s a testimonial to your work all to itself!
Speak soon,
Nikki

@ Nikki- The testimonials can wait until you get your book finished. Just don’t stress out trying to finish it by the weekend as the content will be much more important than how fast you can get it out there.
I still await getting to read it before it hits the masses but don’t rush. It will come to you. Thanks for the words about my Ecover site. It’s doing good so far. I’ll be by the lair in a while to see what you have been brewing in your magic pot of potions.
BTW I have tons of ideas written down on paper that I want to do later on. It’s a good idea to do just to get all that off your mind. You can organize it later. Less stress that way.

Hey Michael,
What can I say? I love the header; it is just what I was looking for! Just to let everyone know Michael emailed and let me know how busy things were since our class started. The fact is he may have thought his response time lagged, it was only hours, but NO way! I had the header up on my blog in no time!
You’re my first choice for future graphics!
Thanks,
~ Julie
