Stop Taking Your Time And Just Get Started

It has been a couple of weeks since the beginning of this project.  After going through some training, it was necessary to first set up this blog.  The reason is so that I can track my progress and also help others to do the same things as me but with the hopes that you do not have to go through the struggles that I do as I show you what I’ve learned.

I put the blog up quickly but had some trouble making it look the way that I wanted and also had to figure out how to put the graphics up and how to get my Aweber autoresponder set up and put on the blog.  I am convinced that using Aweber is the single most crucial piece of online leverage that you need, the second being proper hosting.

I want you to pay attention to the page links at the top of this blog as I will be posting the appropriate content in those pages so that it is easier to follow.  Blogs are not like your typical website where you can organize in the way that a book is listed into chapters.  If someone knows how to correct this please let me know.  This is one of my “Fail Forward Fast” topics.

Most of you are on different learning curves, some advanced, some not.  I do not expect to be everything to all people which is what gives us all the opportunity to market to different individuals in many different ways.  There is truly room for all of us even if we choose to market the same niche.  The so called “Gurus” try to tell you different.

As I have a little background in graphic design, I did not have to hire a graphic artist to create my header or ebook covers.  All of these things can be accomplished by using adobe photoshop and some very easy to use scripts or actions as they are called.  I may even be able to do some covers for some of you who go the distance with me as a special thank you for faithfully  following my progress.

I do not fully expect to have the perfect webite up here but the point is to get it up and going and like Alex taught me, “You can change the design later.”  Being kind of a perfectionist I believe I have been holding myself back as I know I have money making ideas in my head.  Alex has helpled me to unlock them and has simply taught me how to profit from them.  I intend on showing you the same as he shows me.

I really thought that there was some secret to all of this but in reality the true secret is simply “take action”, that’s it.  Nothing profound and nothing great.  Putting a puzzle together is a lot simpler if you have the whole picture already right in front of you.  Alex is providing the whole picture and all I have to do is put my puzzle together.  In some instances he even places pieces in for me.  What a guy!

That’s what a mentor does as he is totally committed to making sure his students succeed.  I am grateful to him for his knowledge and sacrifice to teach us these things.  Yes, he does make money from his students but he by far outgives more than he takes.  Actually he gives so much and what he gives is so valuable that I just couldn’t wait for what my money was going to pay for.

In only a coulple of weeks I have already received much more than what I have expected and we aren’t even a third of the way through the mentoring and coaching programs.  If you all stick with me you will find out for yourselves.  Until next time…
