Doing My Part By Providing Free Graphics

I am posting this in a new section I have called Graphics Creation. I am going to do my part in helping my fellow students of Alex Jeffreys by giving of my small services.
I know a little about graphic design and I want to give some of Alex’s students resources to help their businesses to grow and at the same time, get my name out there.
I recently visited Chelsea Filan’s website and noticed that I could give her a better graphic for her newsletter. It took me about 20 minutes to duplicate her graphics but I think I came out with something better than what she’s got. Her old one is on the left.
Using Photoshop and some great action scripts that I have, I was able to create a way better and current graphic for her. I hope she finds this post and uses it for her site. Again this is my way of thanking my fellow students.
I know it’s hard and sometimes costs a lot of money to get started. I really like the layout of her site and so this is my little plug for her. You go Chelsea! I am just glad to see students having newsletters up on their sites.
As I search through more of Alex’s students sites, I will provide my services to more and more of you. If you like what I can do and are needing graphics for your site, I can do them for you. Just let me know. Whatever skills I do possess, I would like to help in any way I can.
Oh and by the way, you can visit Chelsea’s site by clicking on the new image above. And Chelsea, you can right click the image above and save it to your computer to upload to your website. It is in .png format and it has a translucent background. If you have any questions just leave a comment to this post. Until next time…

WOW I love it!!! Are you self taught? You know I outsourced this too, as I do most all my graphics, as I web design is on my to-learn list! haha..
But for now, if you dont mind my dear, I WILL use this!!! I am not sure how to swap ‘em but maybe thats something I will have to get my programmer to install for me then? Otherwise, I havent a clue where to start, lol..I know I know, when it comes to blogs Im a little lost with all the codes. I try my best to leave well enough alone and just do what I DO know how to do – which is write!! haha…
Again thank you so much, I really appreciate your post and the fact that you used my blog/graphic as an example!! Anything I can do for you, let me know!! In fact I just might link to this post from my blog, I am going to write a quick article on your post here and maybe I can let my readers choose which one they want on there, tehe. Should be interesting!! I will keep you updated with the results
Take care and I will be keeping up with your blog, I love it!! Keep up the great articles!!!
Talk soon!

Oh btw, are you seriously providing FREE graphics? Wow, I commend you!!! Im sure you will get a lot of feedback and request, considering how nice a job you did here!!! I have to admit, it was a great example though
If you dont mind me asking for more details about your offer here? Regarding the FREE graphics…is this something you’re providing for all Alex Jeffreys students?? Geesh if this is the case, I highly recommend you talk to Alex somehow, whether its through a web’ session or support ticket, or even straight email. If you dont have his personal email, just give me a shout and I will send that to you through email.
We were emailing for a little bit there, so I do have is email, which Im not sure if anyone else knows!? But for this, I think it would really benefit other students, therefore Im sure he wouldnt mind to say the least!! So I will FOR SURE be writing a post directed to THIS article you wrote here, so that everyone can know what you’re offering!!! Good job Mike…wow you’re the best!!
Hey Chelsea, Mike again. Yes I am self taught. You’d be surprised at how easy it is to create some of these professional looking graphics. You just have to have the right tools.
Regarding the question about free graphics. I have began to surf the blogs of Alex’s students now that I have a blogroll of them on my website. Those that have already made an attempt to get graphics on their sites are the ones that are easiest for me to do.
If they already have ebook covers that I feel are “non professional” looking then I will do a free cover for them and create a post much like I did for you. This is my way of helping Alex’s students out in any way I can and also gets me recognition. Alex talked about giving first so that’s what I intend to do.
Obviously seeing your graphic made it easier for me to redo it. If other students of Alex are needing complete graphics from scratch, it would take me a lot more time to completely design from scratch what they want. I probably should charge something for my efforts later but for now, “FREE”, “FREE”, “FREE”.
I missed the boat getting on everyone elses blogroll so this is my way to boost myself into some recognition. You were my first to do a graphic for so if you can help promote my offer, I would apprciate it.
I am really glad you like the ecover and I’ll keep comming back to your blog as well.

Wow thanks again. I will add you to my blogroll. However, at one point I had everyone of the students on my blogroll, but then heard the horror stories, of Google banning websites that are linked to other websites that are linked back to you – if you have this done multiple times. Which if all Alex students are linked back to each other from each others blogs, well thats like 500 cross links, which I think Google would BAN sadly, so I am not doing this anymore unfortunately. So now Im starting fresh, and adding those who I interactive with on a regular basis, so I will be happy to add you to my blogroll.
However, adding hundreds of people I dont even know, and vice versa, isnt very practical in any sense honestly. I know Alex says to do it to benefit the community, but when we’re risking being banned by by the search engines, i dont think that will benefit anyone in the long run.
So I will be sure to come back often and yeah please do the same
I am asking my programmer to add your newsletter image so I hope he does that soon. Hes from Pakistan actually, and theres a war in progress over there apparently, so I havent heard from him for awhile. I often worry about him geesh..I will go days and days without talking to him and then starting thinking bad things!!! So lets hope for world peace in the new year for all of us!!
Best regards
Chelsea
