Over the past year or so I’ve been running my online business free from the boss that so many of you have in your daily lives. I never thought that I knew enough about anything to create my own products and services but I proved myself wrong by creating and running a successful online graphics business.
Simple Ecovers makes me a full time living online but it’s time to switch gears a little in my journey as it’s time to do more than just graphics for people on the internet. I’ve learned so much about mindset, customer service, planning, list building, product creation and more. Needless to say my upcoming success will be dependent upon the continuing service I’ve always provided.

It has been a while since my last post so I wanted to give some updates. While I quit my job in July of 2009 it has been a struggle to get things going as fast or as far as i would have liked. My first ever real online business, “Simple Ecovers” is going well. I haven’t made a killing or anything like that but am getting steady work that keeps me busy. This is great and bad all at the same time.

As you may have noticed, it has been quite a while since my last post. I want to get you all up to speed because as many of you are starting your own online businesses, there are a lot of things to consider. I have been working full time from home now for four months now and it has not been easy.
Though working from home sounds great to most of you, there must come a realization that if you don’t do the work then you won’t get paid. Sounds simple right? With so many ideas in my head and with the tons of emails I get each and every day, it is no doubt difficult to find the time to do everything that I want to do.
Hey everyone, just wanted to get a quick post up about what’s been going on since I last posted. As you can see, it’s been over a month since my last post and it’s all due to me working my butt off online full time.
I’m trying to take what Alex Jeffreys has taught me and improve upon it each and every day. And now that I’ve seen exactly how to get money in my bank account, there’s no turning back.
I just spent the last four days and five nights in the city that never sleeps. Las Vegas is on heck of a town with the most beautiful and most amazing scenery of a city that I’ve seen in a while. The funny thing is that when you stop to look closely around, you can see a different scene.

Finding hype on the internet is easy because it seems that was all that I have found during my quest to find legitimate people online who were actually interested in my online success. I have definitely found the real deal in Alex Jeffreys who has been phenomenal in giving his time and talents to truly help us succeed online.
His interactive video webinars are perfect and have helped me tremendously but there was something more I needed. If you haven’t heard of Sara Brown and Tony Shepherd yet then you’ll be in for a treat. These two have quietly made over six figures for many years by being honest, trustworthy and obviously dedicated to helping others to succeed in their online businesses.

Creating value is easy when people have a need or want that they are concerned about. It is because the value was created by them. It’s your job in business to provide the need or want in a way that relieves people of their pain or causes them pleasure.
In this case I am providing a need to people who are not quite sure how to get the most out of their computers. I realize that your computer is a potential workhorse and it’s capabilities far exceeds the ability of mortal man. When properly used, one person in their bedroom at home can replicate the ability of an entire company.

Building a business is fun and frustrating to say the least but when the results of your hard work give people value and put money in your pocket, it’s well worth it. There are so many business models out there that in reality are so much alike that it’s not even funny. Take McDonalds and Burger King for example.
Both sell burgers and fries but what is the money maker? Other than the slight differences in their taste, they are basically both just burger and fry stores. The difference is their branding. They go all out to market themselves as “different” than everybody else. Their colors, logos, commercials, etc.. differentiate themselves from the rest.

I can’t believe it has really taken me so many years to finally “start” an online business. Yes I have created products and have also created cool graphics for many of the resale rights or private label rights products that I have purchased but I never ever got the business side of things started. I believe that’s why over 95% of people fail online. They never got the business side of things figured out.
For those of you who don’t know I have been trying to make money online for the past five years or so. I have done a variety of programs and purchased a number of books over the years but have not had success at any of them.
