Hey everyone. I just wanted to give a quick post on a topic that seems to haunt almost everyone who tries it. It’s list building. I’ve been working online as a graphic designer for a while now and admit I haven’t done my due diligence in creating and maintaining a mailing list. Only recently have I been giving away a graphics pack to build my list.
I came across something that has given me 53 subscribers in just a few hours and by the time this post is up for 24 hours I will let you know even how much more it has grown.
As many of you know, Alex Jeffreys was my mentor and helped me to be able to quit my day job to go full time online. I have sat through two of his coaching courses and watched as he transformed hundreds of peoples lives for the better. Alex is not only my mentor, he’s my friend.
As this year winds down, Alex has decided to give what I consider the best freebie of the year and I’m not just talking about what Alex has given, I’m talking about the entire online marketing community as a whole. I just spent the last four days and five nights in the city that never sleeps. Las Vegas is on heck of a town with the most beautiful and most amazing scenery of a city that I’ve seen in a while. The funny thing is that when you stop to look closely around, you can see a different scene.
For those of you who have been coached by Alex Jeffreys during his latest mentoring program have already heard about or are planning on attending a two day power packed event in Las Vegas on May 29th and 30th of this year. Most of you who come to my blog know that over the last few months I’ve been designing ecovers and minisites for free to Alex Jeffreys students and those who were needing help with getting their graphics done.
After some poking and prodding from those of you who like my work, I decided to launch SimpleEcovers.com, a website designed to give the online business owner vision for their products and services. I failed forward creating my site and making it functional for all of you.
Over the past few months, I’ve been working this business online with the intention of giving as much as I can to a community of fellow entrepreneurs who likewise give of their time and talents to help me and others. I have seen a social family emerge and if it weren’t for those people who continue to give their time and efforts to encourage and help others, I probably would have quit long ago.
If you have ever wondered how in the world people all over the globe work from the comforts of their homes with no employees and make a nice living online, then I want to show you something. I’ve written a book called The Power Of Virtual Leverage “Getting Your Computer To Work For You.”
I explain that your computer can do virtually anything and I show you how to take it and leverage it so you can run a successful online business from home. Many people wonder how this is done and I get a lot of questions about it. I realized that I needed a business plan in order to be successful and like many of you, I just bought product after product hoping to just get rich.
As I look at my last blog post, I realize it has been a week since I wrote it. I have been spending the extra time I have creating graphics and redesigning my blog. As I go through other Alex Jeffreys student blogs, I see that they are busy posting and getting content that will draw visitors to their sites. I want to publicly say that I’ve dropped the ball.
Hey I decided to make a video to show how in the world I figured out how to get traffic for free and fast to your website or blog without paying anything.
To save time I signed up to Youtube and created my account. I included everything necessary to upload videos and even created my own channel.
Then I downloaded a free 30 day trial of Camtasia Studio 6 to make my free videos with. I made my first video and uploaded it to Youtube and watched the results.
