Adding RSS Feeds To A Reader

Due to a question about RSS Feeds I decided to write a quick post about it.  When you arrive on any particular blog and you like the content that it contains, you may want to get updates about that blog without having to visit it all the time to see if new content was added.

There are a multitude of RSS readers out there and as far as I know, all you have to do it copy and paste the rss feed page url into your reader.  If you click my orange subscribe button on this page you will see my rss feeds page.  Copy and paste the url of the feed page in your rss feeder and presto, you will get all new content from now on automatically.

This is just one way to get fresh content from blogs.  You may also sign up to receive emails every time a new post is added and you may also sign up to get notified when new comments are added as well.  I would prefer the rss feed method so you do not get tons of emails from all of your favorite blogs.

Just check your reader and read the ones that look interesting to you.  If you have more questions or comments about how to get rss feeds into a reader, please post and I’ll go more in depth.  Until next time…
